SAX, SAX, SAX! A Saxophone Concert at the 1908!

UNC SCHOOL OF THE ARTS SAXOPHONE QUARTET – SUNDAY, MARCH 5th at 3pm

The third Winter Concert from The Arts Council of the Twin Counties features a Saxophone Quartet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  The University of North Carolina School of the Arts Saxophone Quartet will be presenting music from the repertoire they’ve prepared over the year for competitions, including new music by living composers, string transcriptions, and traditional French saxophone quartet repertoire. The Quartet’s members include Caleb Carpenter, Timothy Bachman, Andrew Hasher, and Kyle Greaney.

The Winter Concert Series is a series of FREE Sunday afternoon concerts on at the Historic 1908 Courthouse in Independence on select Sundays through April 9th.  Donations are gratefully accepted at the door and the audience is welcome to stay after the performance for a reception with the artists.

·                  April 9 at 3pm           UNCSA Flutes
