Please Join Us for the Arts Council’s Annual Meeting
When: Saturday, April 23rd ~ 2pm to 4pm
Where: The Clubhouse at the Galax Golf Course (107 Country Club Lane, Galax, Virginia)
The Annual Meeting of the Arts Council of the Twin Counties is an open meeting!
On the agenda is:
- Approve the new officers and board members for 2011 -2012
- Approve of the 2011 -2012 budget
- Approve two amendments to the Bylaws – Some very exciting news!
- Announce our 25th Anniversary Schedule of Events
- Present the 2011 Carmichael Scholarship Recipients
- Present the Empty Bowls Checks
Coffee and Dessert will be served!
ARTS ALIVE 2011 – This Friday!
Join us for an afternoon of arts and artisan demonstrations the Friday, April 8th from 3:30pm – 5:30pm at Carroll County Intermediate School (1036 North Main St, Hillsville) ~ a 21st century community learning center.
Arts Alive is sponsored in part by the Virginia Commision for the Arts, The National Endowment for the Arts, No Child Left Behind, the Partnership for 21st Century Learning Skills, Carroll County Public School System and the Arts & Cultural Council of the Twin Counties.
